Drama Queens -- Will you Catch the attention of Dilemma that you saw Or maybe Small business?

Certainly one of my incredible mentors raised an interesting question in a teleclass this week: Can you attract drama in your lifetime or business?

Your first impulse may be to deny it. But what is drama really?

The dictionary definition of "drama" is really a state, situation, or series of events involving interesting or intense conflict of forces, or excessively emotional performances or reactions.

Well, I don't learn about you, but when that's how drama is defined, I certainly can't say that I haven't experienced my great amount of it.

And if you're launching or running your own business, it is likely you have too.

What does drama do to us? Well, drama creates stress. And unless you have been living under a stone for the past few years, chances are that you have found out about what stress may do to your body. An instant refresher:

Yuck, right? I know that none of us want to handle these physical and emotional risks.

So, how do we prevent ourselves from becoming another stress-related statistic? The clear answer lies in the straightforward question: Can you create drama, attract it, seek it out...Are you an episode junkie?

This takes some real soul-searching to get to the answer.

The first place to check is your past to see if there are patterns that you can see in your lifetime - patterns in your relationships, your work experiences, your household, your hard earned money situation, etc.... Many of us continue in the same kind of cycles in life until we become aware of these cycles and make a company decision to improve their experiences and the outcome of these experiences.

Understand that famous quote by Albert Einstein about cycles? He explained, "Insanity does the same thing over and once more and expecting different results."

I am here to express that drama is simply about the absolute most destructive cycle you may get caught in as a business owner. Besides the awful physical and emotional havoc it can wreck for you, additionally, it may undo your entire effort, make forward progress difficult or even impossible, and may also ruin valued relationships.

Any way you view it, drama can hurt you, your company and your bottom line.

So, where is YOUR drama?

In your environment? Is your workplace in pretty bad shape? Do you have clutter in your workspace? Have you been months behind on your own filing?

In your wallet? Have you been current on your own bookkeeping? Do you have a field, file or pile of receipts gathering that you keep forgetting to do something with? Do you have unpaid bills or an unbalanced banking account?

In your relationships? Do you have someone in your lifetime who sucks up your entire energy? Somebody who discourages you or actively criticizes you? Do you have a relationship that's riddled with arguments, resentment or weighty expectations?

Is it possible to see where I am going with this particular? I believe if we are all honest with one another, we all possess some area or areas where there is drama. We have learned to tune out the warning bells, the adrenaline rush, the frustration and to just live with the drama want it is an inevitable section of our lives.

Drama should not be an inevitable section of our lives on a regular basis. True, life always changes and always sends us curve-balls and tragedy. Most of us have our crosses to bear at once or another.

But accepting daily drama and pain isn't healthy and it will stop you from true success, true happiness and living your truth.

If you should be on this blog, chances are you currently want success, happiness and the opportunity to be your true self, so it is time to handle the sourced elements of drama in your life.

A number of them are easier to cope with than others, but you actually can deal with almost any drama.

If your workplace is really a mess, you are able to devote an afternoon to clearing it out and getting organized. Better yet, pay you to definitely get it done for you personally on a regular basis and devote your time and energy to activities that move you forward. It is also easier to quickly eliminate the chaos and drama when you bring someone in who isn't emotionally connected to your drama. She may be unemotional and efficient about clearing the clutter, whereas you might be bogged down in the emotional link with the things you will need cleared out.

If you face money drama, that can be overwhelming, but it may be eliminated. For starters, hire an excellent bookkeeper to deal with your books and to enter receipts on a regular or monthly basis. She can also balance your accounts for you personally and stop you on top of bills that have to be paid. Pay her to do her job, and focus your own time on what you prosper, that'll subsequently end in more revenue and less money drama. That does NOT mean ignore your finances, though. Make sure you stay connected as to the is happening and that your bookkeeper educates you weekly on your entire accounts.

If you face drama in your relationships, that one may be harder to cope with, particularly if the one who brings drama into your daily life is really a spouse, parent, child or best friend. This is a very complicated subject for a post, but I urge you to consider ways to get rid of the drama in those relationships. It will require counseling, or carving out space yourself weekly, or it will ultimately require that you (sadly) end the relationship. When you yourself have people in your lifetime that are toxic, that's always planning to undermine your attempts to reach your dream life. You will need to surround yourself with individuals who rely on you, that are your fans and champions, and who give you honest feedback that builds you up and can help you progress (honesty is NOT the same as criticism or harsh words).

I am aware plenty of that is easier said than done, but all you've got to do is simply START. You just need to take baby steps and make sure you renew your commitment on a daily basis to eliminating drama in your lifetime and business. Taking the initial baby step is really a movement towards breaking the cycle of insanity. It'll open your horizons, free you to a new future and you will discover that you have renewed energy, enthusiasm and strength, all of which you will need in order to find your company brilliance!
